NODARSE ON BOARD FOR THE GREAT ORLANDO WHEEL

(ORLANDO) – Nodarse & Associates, Inc. (N&A), a Central Florida based specialty engineering and environmental consulting firm, is providing geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services during the installation of the deep foundation for a 400 foot high observation wheel and a two-story terminal building for The Great Orlando Wheel.  The development is located southeast of the intersection of I-4 and State Road 528 bounded on the southeast by Westwood Boulevard and is convenient to the Orlando International Airport, downtown Orlando, theme parks, hotels, and attractions.  The project consists of 24 air conditioned, glass observation capsules attached to the Wheel’s outer rim to provide unobstructed views.  Each capsule measures approximately 38 x 16 feet and can carry up to 40 passengers comfortably.  The Great Orlando Wheel is the perfect venue for accommodating special events, corporate gatherings, private parties, and romantic celebrations.  It is scheduled to open in 2010.  Great Wheel Corporation, the Singapore firm behind the project, has built a wheel in Singapore, with similar wheels planned in Beijing and Berlin.

N&A’s President, Leila Jammal Nodarse, stated, “We are very excited about the award of this project and look forward to the opportunity to work with Great Wheel Corporation.”
