NODARSE & ASSOCIATES, INC. ANNOUNCES 2010 PROMOTIONS

Winter Park, Fla. - (March 31, 2010) – Nodarse & Associates, Inc., a Central Florida based geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and environmental firm, recently announced the promotions of Amr Sallam, Ph.D., P.E., Rick Acree, P.E, Hugo Soto, P.E. and Craig Anstett, P.E.

Dr. Amr Sallam, Ph.D., P.E. has been appointed as Technical Services Director and Vice President. His expertise is in geotechnical services, and as director, he now oversees all company wide geotechnical practices. In addition, Dr. Sallam is an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida, where he teaches geotechnical engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. Sallam holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt.  

Rick Acree, P.E. has been appointed as Regional Manager and Vice President. As Regional Manager, he now oversees all operations for Nodarse’s Central Florida offices, which includes offices in Winter Park, Kissimmee, and Ormond Beach. He previously served as the Geotechnical Department Manager. Acree joined Nodarse in 1992 as an Intern and was hired on full-time two years later. Over the past 18 years, Acree has worked his way up through the company’s ranks.  Prior to his days at Nodarse, Acree attended the University of Florida, graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Hugo Soto, P.E. was appointed to Regional Manager of Nodarse’s offices in South Florida and is based out of the MiamiLakes office. As Regional Manager, Soto now oversees the firm’s Miami and West Palm Beach office and laboratory locations. He previously served as the office manager at Nodarse’s Miami Lakes office. Soto joined Nodarse in 2008, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the geotechnical field. He is a graduate of Utah State University with a Master Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.

Craig Anstett, P.E. was appointed to Regional Manager of Nodarse’s West Florida operations and is based out of the Tampa office. As Regional Manager, Anstett now oversees all the firm’s Tampa and Lakeland office and laboratory locations. He previously served as the office manager of Nodarse’s Tampa office.  Anstett has been with the company since 2004, and has over 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. Anstett received his Civil Engineering degree from the University of South Florida.
