Acree, P.E., Vice President and Geotechnical Department Manager, was honored with the Leadership Excellence in Engineering Award during the annual Central Florida Engineers’ Week Banquet on Saturday, February 24, 2007.  The nominees were judged on the following four categories:  (1) leadership contributions or promotion of the engineering profession, (2) technical accomplishments and contributions, (3) participation in engineering societies, and (4) civic or non-engineering related activities.  This was the first year Rick was nominated for the award, and he was nominated by the American Society of Civil Engineers East Central Branch.Following the award announcement, N&A
