EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS

(ORLANDO) – The Central Florida Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) has announced the winners of the 2007 Construction in Excellence Awards.  Nodarse & Associates, Inc., a  Central Florida based specialty engineering and environmental consulting firm, provided geotechnical engineering and/or construction materials testing services on several of these award winning projects including the 304,000 square foot Reunion Grande; the 230-acre Rosen Shingle Creek Resort; the 25-acre Uptown Altamonte retail and commercial development; and the Orange County Juvenile Justice Center Expansion which included a 24,000 square foot single story addition and a 4,000 square foot courtroom renovation.

ABC developed the Excellence in Construction Awards program to demonstrate the quality of workmanship and services that ABC members provide to the entire community.  These awards recognize those construction projects that are exemplary in all aspects; quality construction, innovative techniques or materials, degree of difficulty, and worker safety.  There are several categories ranging from small projects to multi-million dollar projects, and encompassing all scopes of construction.
