(JACKSONVILLE) Nodarse & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen R. Weaver, P. E. has joined our firm as Geotechnical Department Manager in our Jacksonville Office.

Mr. Weaver, a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, has over 23 years of experience in the geotechnical and environmental industry, including 21 years in northeast Florida and South Georgia. Stephen’s areas of expertise include geotechnical engineering, pavement design and evaluation, groundwater modeling, wetland drainage studies, environmental assessment, construction monitoring and quality control, and foundation design and construction. He has directed and managed a wide range of project types throughout Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, including small and large retail commercial projects, communication towers, FDOT bridges and roadways, municipal roadways and parks, private and public utilities, and public and private schools.

Mr. Weaver has worked for notable private sector clients on projects such as Lowe’s Retail Centers, Home Depot/Sam’s Club Stores and InTown Suites, as well as, major public sector clients on projects such as U.S. 441 Roadway Improvements, Seabreeze Bridge Replacement and the I-295 Overpass and Roadway Improvements, In his new role at Nodarse, Stephen will oversee the Jacksonville office Geotechnical Department and work to expand client services throughout the greater Jacksonville area. Mr. Weaver is a 1981 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.
