(ORMOND BEACH, FLORIDA) Nodarse & Associates, Inc. (N&A) is pleased to announce that Mr. Andrew T. Schmid, P.E. has joined N&A as the Branch Manager for our Ormond Beach Office.

Mr. Schmid is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Florida and Georgia, and he has over 10 years of experience in the construction materials testing discipline including field inspections for soils, base materials, asphalt, concrete, reinforcing steel, fireproofing materials and roofing materials. In addition, he is highly knowledgeable in all facets of construction materials laboratory testing. Some of his project experience includes the Orlando Sanford International Airport Expansion, Osceola County Courthouse, Walt Disney’s Animal Kingdom, State Road 429 (Western Beltway), and Solivita.

Mr. Schmid is a 1995 graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering and had previously worked for N&A early in his career. When asked about his recent rehiring, N&A’s President and CEO, Leila Jammal Nodarse, stated, “It’s always a joy to have someone return home, and I am thrilled to have Andrew back at N&A. I have every confidence in his ability to successfully lead our Ormond Beach Office.”
